HappyOrdering is a next-gen food delivery platform built to give local restaurants more control, better margins, and a branded experience outside the grip of traditional giants like UberEats or Caviar. The main challenge was designing a system that felt familiar to users but improved on common pain points like cluttered interfaces, confusing order flows, and high fees. To solve this, we developed a mobile-first, minimalist platform with a smooth checkout experience, smart reordering, and built-in loyalty features. For restaurant partners, we created a responsive dashboard where they could track orders, upload menus, and manage delivery zones. The modular design made it easy to scale and iterate, and we supported the rollout with branded content across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok to drive awareness and build trust.
My Role
As the lead designer, I was responsible for the full experience across both web and mobile. I created user flows, UI components, and visual branding for the entire platform, covering everything from the customer ordering journey to the restaurant dashboard. I also designed order tracking views, responsive layouts, and an onboarding system that made it easy for restaurants to get started. Beyond product design, I developed social media content and marketing assets to support the platform’s launch. I collaborated closely with product managers and developers to make sure the designs were consistent, intuitive, and ready for real-world use.
